The Group C comeback at the Hockenheim Ring has been postponed. The Hockenheim Historic, where the Group C Super Cup should have been the new highlight and which was scheduled for May 8 and 9, cannot take place on the original date because of Corona politics: It would have had to become a "ghost race" not allowing fans to partake at Hockenheim Ring, which cannot be economically viable for the organizers for this type of event - and English teams in the scale of historic motorsport would also not have been able to travel from the island to the mainland until May 17 at the earliest anyway, so many starters would not have been able to compete even at a "ghost race".
The organizers are now trying to find an alternative date in the summer, when the epidemic situation will have eased and there will have been vaccinations in effective numbers.
Group C Super Cup, along with the PITWALK-Magazine, will react to the postponement in the coming days with podcasts and online videos to bring more details and backgrounds to light.
