Group C/GTP Racing, GMS GmbH and Bosch Hockenheim Historic are pleased to announce KW automotive GmbH as the main sponsor of the feature race at the 2021 Bosch Hockenheim Historic - Group C Super Cup. Since its formation in 1995, KW automotive GmbH has been a commercial partner of various motor sports teams and produces the high-performance prestige products for the Mercedes-AMG – SLK 55, CLK 63 and SL 65 AMG Black Series . The special suspension KW has developed meets the high demands required by Mercedes-AMG.
For many years they have also been the official development & production partner of Roush Performance USA equipping all high-performance Roush Ford Mustang models with KW sports suspensions in different adjustments.
Additionally, KW co-operates with Chrysler USA whose Viper SRT10 ACR has entered the market in 2007.This 600hp race car is only available in a limited edition, is based on the Dodge Viper 2008 and is equipped with a KW coil over suspension which KW especially developed for Chrysler.
For drivers of historic and classic cars, KW Automotive offer the opportunity to manufacture an individual suspension kit, according to customer specific needs, taking into account all the requirements that can significantly affect performance. This includes ride height, ground clearance, wheel loads, spring deflection, spring stiffness and degree of damping, depending on the intended use on the road, rallies or racing at historic motorsport events.
